Bowflex T116 Treadmill Review
by Nick Gregory
The Bowflex T116 Treadmill has premium features without a premium price point. Utilizing a folding mechanism in the upper right hand corner of the underside of the folded deck, the treadmill remains out of reach for curious kids when not in use.
The modern interface with Bluetooth capabilities and a convenient upper tablet rack that does not block the LCD on the console. It also has a powerful 3.75hp motor, thick textured belt & a very solid 2 year in home labor warranty.
Thicker belts can tax the motor a bit more, but the unit maintains a 1% incline to alleviate this. At speeds below 2.5mph there may be some minor noise from the belt thickness/texture but it’s very difficult to hear while working out on it and goes away at any faster speeds.
The Bowflex T216 which has incline/speed adjustments integrated into the handrails for superior ergonomics but the T116 has great value with a more modest investment.
